Web Development by Sunfire

~ Helping you build your Home on the Web ~

My name is Connie Hill, but everyone calls me Sunfire. I enjoy developing effective and unique web solutions for individuals and small businesses. With my college education, military experience, history in crafting and small business management, and continued desire to learn more about web technology, I bring a lot more to the table than just website coding and design.

About Connie Hill

I am a recent college graduate taking the things I have learned from school and life, and stepping into my own as a freelance web developer. The 5 years I spent in the US Navy working on Top Secret computer systems taught me about working on teams to get things done. The 6 years I have spent running my own hobby business, while simultaneously working in grocery retail (2 years as a department manager), have shown me the psychology of consumers as well as what it takes to run a successful business. Those experiences have shown me what to do and how to do it. The college degree, and continued self-study, gives me the tools I need to make any web project come to life.

When I'm not absorbed in code and markup, I like to surround myself with the simple things in life that make me happy: getting lost in nature (hiking and biking), dancing to the music that moves me, baking, woodburning and crocheting, playing video games, watching movies, spending time with my husband, and supporting my fellow hobby- and craft-business people.

Skills

  • HTML and HTML5 -- 8 years
  • CSS and CSS3 -- 3 years
  • Javascript -- 2 years
  • Wordpress -- 2 years
  • Bootstrap -- 2 years
  • C# and ASP.NET -- 2 years

Talents

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excessive work ethic
  • Desire to learn, willing to try new things
  • Desire to succeed, can't leave a job unfinished
  • Team player, motivator
